10/16/2004: "HP5065A Offset"

After a long downtime, I got the Austron 2100F LORAN-C receiver fired up last night. After running overnight, the frequency error meter shows the HP 5065A is about -3.0x10-12. That's not bad considering that the 5065A hasn't been adjusted in over a year and has been power cycled at least once since the last check (at that time, it was -1.27x10-12).

I don't really trust the frequency error meter in the Austron, so will start a phase measurement as soon as I get my newly acquired HP 3421A data acquisition box wired up to the Austron's meter outputs.
