02/19/2006 Entry: "Minor tweaks to CS1 and RB1"
I'm now logging the performance of CS1, CS2, and RB1 using an HP5334A counter and 59307A coax switch. I read a 100 second average of 1pps vs GPS from each source, then move to the next. The plots are at www.febo.com/time-freq/plots.
After about 18 hours, it was clear that both CS1 and RB1 were more than 1x10-12 high, so I tweaked them down a little bit. CS1 went from 5.30 to 5.20, and RB1 from 1.85 to 1.84. CS2 is very close to correct; I can't even make a good estimate of the offset with this little data. So I'm leaving it alone.
I'm leaving for a multi-week trip shortly, so will restart the data capture just before I leave. That'll give the changes a couple of days to settle in before starting a long-term run.
