04/13/2007 Entry: "LORAN-C Timing"

I'm gradually getting the racks back together and today got the LORAN-C system running again. My new Austron 2010B disciplined oscillator is paired with the Austron 2100T receiver. I am tracking LORSTA Dana, Indiana (Master, GRI 89700). I established PPS sync and a initial measurement of the Fixed PPS output versus GPS (CNS-II, hardware sawtooth correction) is that PPS(LORAN Fixed) is 999.500 039 microseconds behind PPS(GPS) (1000 second average). I'll need to revisit this once everything is stabilized.
