Audio Response: Kenwood TW-4100A

This is a 1988 vintage dual-bander that's been my main APRS radio for the last couple of years. It doesn't have the low-cut characteristic of the Alinco DR-1200 or Icom W-32; perhaps back then PL wasn't common enough to be an issue.

The response curve is very smooth all the way from 500Hz to 3kHz, but the deemphasis is more than the desired 6dB/octave; at 6.66dB the 1200-to-2200Hz rolloff is noticeably greater than the ideal.
