Howdy;

the crimp die for RG-8/9913/LMR-400 is the same for all those coaxes
(they are all 0.405" external diameter).
The crimp die's BIG hole is 0.429"... which is correct for these cables.

The only difference between the three mentioned coax's... is the center
conductor diameter.

The RG-8 die set (rfparts.com number: RFA-4005-02 ) has two different
sized center-conductor (smaller) holes... the LMR-400 would use the
larger diameter of the "small" holes (0.128").

rfparts.com sells both their brand die... and Amphenol mfgr dies; either
mfgr will work.

they sell the tool & larger coax die (Amphenol # RFA-4005-14) together,
part number: RFA-4005-314 (it has the Amphenol mfgr die for
8/9913/LMR-400... it only one "small" hole area for the center
conductor).

I believe rfparts.com will sell the handle... and any single die of your
choice... as a "set"; you might try and ask if they still do that.

And, of course, there are multiple mfgrs of handles as well; there's
quite an assortment available... plenty of choices that will get the job
done right.
