We're getting closer to having a fully operating station,
folks.
To that end, I'd like to ask whoever can spare the time
to "come on down" next Tuesday evening at 7:00 PM. We
need to put connectors on one end of the cables that go
between the Polyphase panel and the patch panel. The
other end will have the connector put on when we
trim the cables to meet the actual length needed for
a neat looking installation.
Tim has nicely offered once again to teach those who
missed the previous session how to cut, trim, and
crimp the assemblies.
Feel free to bring your own cable and connectors, and
we'll help you work on them as well.
Other things we should be able to do at the same time:
1. Install the gutter which has been graciously
donated by Henry to the tops of the station
separator walls. Then install the downspouts
to be used as cable runs to the stations.
We can then lay the cables in those troughs.
2. Install the Polyphaser panel up in the ceiling.
Has the rotor cable Polyphaser been mounted yet?
3. Install the patch panel in the box. How is
the box coming along? Can it be finished by
Tuesday?
We need to finish all the inside work as soon as
we can. We're getting too close to drop the ball now.
In addition to your participation, please feel free
to offer your thoughts, suggestions, and ideas.
Remember: Many hands make light work!
Have a Happy Thansgiving!
