XWARN President Mike Crawford KC8GLE has issued a call for volunteers with 
4-wheel drive vehicles willing to transport Greene Memorial Hospital 
employees in the event of a snow emergency which severely inpairs travel on 
roadways.  XWARN has performed this support service for a number of years.

Because of liability constraints and the GCARES MOU with XWARN, this 
service is not a function of Greene County ARES but a club function of 
XWARN.  However, any GCARES members with 4-wheel drive vehicles and 
so-inclined to help out can contact Mike and volunterer on an individual

Subject: [xwarn] Potential Snow Emergency - Operators w/4 Wheel Drives Needed

According the Weather Forecasts we may be in for some heavy snow in the
next couple days.  If correct this could severely impair travel on the
roadways, hindering Hospital employees from reaching work.  Every year
XWARN has volunteered to transport Hospital employees to and from work.
We are in definite need of volunteers who are willing to help out with
this extremely worthy endeavor!  If you have a four wheel drive and can
help out, please contact me by email or phone with your availability and
the best way of contacting you should we need to activate you.  Please
