An Open Test Session for all classes of Amateur Radio License will be
conducted Sunday 12 November 2006 in the Training Room at Beavercreek
Township Fire Station 1.  Registration will begin at 5:00 PM and testing
will begin at 6:00 PM.  The BTFD Station 1 is located at 2195 Dayton-Xenia
Road, just west of Orchard Lane.  Walk-ins are welcome.  Pre-registration
not required.  For additional information, contact Henry Bussey, W8TOG, by
email at W8TOG at sbcglobal.net or by phone at 657-0464 (between 8 AM and 8
PM).

 

Applicants must bring:

*     the original and one copy of current license, if any

*     the original and one copy of any certificates of successful completion
of examination (CSCE)

*	the copy of above documents must be submitted with application

*     positive identification (photo ID)

*     Social Security Number (TIN), or FCC Federal Registration Number
(FRN), if any

*   Instructions for obtaining FRN available at:  www.ARRL.org

*     $14 Examination Fee (please bring correct change, or check payable to
BARC)

*     pencil (#2 wooden or mechanical-for answer sheet)

*	A calculator may be used provided it does not contain formulas or
reference information.
*	Application Form 605 will be available at the Test Registration
table or may be downloaded from the ARRL website and completed in advance.

 

This ARRL VEC Test Session is sponsored jointly by the Greene County Amateur
Radio clubs and ARES:

*     Bellbrook Amateur Radio Club (BARC)

*     Upper Valley Amateur Radio Club (UVARC) [Fairborn]

*     Xenia Weather Amateur Radio Net (XWARN)

*     Greene County Amateur Radio Emergency Service (GCARES)

 

DIRECTIONS

--------------------- 

On US35, the Orchard Lane intersection is the second traffic light east of
I-675 (also, the second traffic light east of Fairfield Road) and the second
traffic light west of the "Xenia By-pass."  Dayton-Xenia Road is apx 1/2
mile north of US-35.  From Orchard Lane, turn Left (West) on Dayton-Xenia
Road and the Fire Station will be the first driveway on the left.  Parking
is located at the west end of the building.  Entrance to the Training Room
is located on the back side at the west end (look for Sheriff Substation
signs).  Handicap ramp access available at rear of building (please contact
Henry for further information).
