  As you submit your Field Day announcements for posting to MVARBB, please add Item #10, Contact Information:  The name of a person including phone number, email address, etc., that would be useful for anyone desiring additional information.
   
  Thank you to everyone submitting Field Day information.  I know there are a number of hams in the greater SW and WC Ohio region who really appreciate receiving this information and who plan to visit one or more of the sites in their local area.

  It's that time of the year again -- Field Day, 2007 !!!
   
  Please pass this message on to your Field Day Chairman or other appropriate person in your club / group, and to other groups who may not have anyone subscribed to MVARBB.

  All clubs and groups planning to participate in the 2007 Field Day exercise, June 23 / 24, are invited and encouraged to send an announcement for posting on the Miami Valley Amateur Radio Bulletin Board.  MVARBB has a distribution to several hundred subscribers across the greater Southwest and West Central Ohio region and beyond.  Let others know where your club/group's Field Day plans and invite them to visit your site and participate.
   
  Field Day announcements should include the following information:

  1.   Name of Club or group.
   
  2.   Location of Field Day site with directions, including intersections and landmarks.
   
  3.   Set up time.
   
  4.   Tear down time -- If before 1400L Sunday.
   
  5.   Restricted hours, if any, for visitors  (Some sites are not accessible after dark).
   
  6.   Bands and modes you plan to operate
   
  7.   Any demonstration stations you plan to have.
   
  8.   Any special activities or information that visitors should be aware of, or that you want to publicize (meals, picnic, etc.).
   
  9.   Any other comments relating to your group's Field Day 2007 activities.
   
  10.  Contact for further information (name, email address, phone number, etc.).

  Announcements will be posted as received, and reposted in a Field Day Summary Bulletin on Thursday evening, June 21.
