*** Field Day Location: Picnic Shelter at the North-West corner of the
Wright State University (WSU) campus. Picnic Shelter GPS Coordiantes:
Latitude: N39° 47.394' Longitude: W84° 3.910'. Directions: Exit I-675 at
Exit 17. Turn North onto North Fairfield Road, then West (left) on Colonel
Glenn. Follow Colonel Glenn about 2 miles, then turn North (right) onto
Zink Road (between the Meijer store and their gas station). Follow Zink
Road North to a group of dormitories (about a mile and a half), on your
right (They are close to the road). Turn right into the one open gate in
the fence along the road, and follow the Ham signs pointing North (turn
left). Drive along the road adjacent to the fence, and turn right, at the
end of the dormitories (and after many stop signs). The picnic shelter and
parking lot will be on you left. If you reach Kaufman Avenue, where Zink
Road stops, you have gone too far. Turn around, and enter the first open
gate in the fence, on your left, then follow the instructions above.

5. Talk-in Frequency?
*** 145.110 MHz (67 Hz PL)/224.160 MHz repeater.
6. Set up time?
*** Saturday, 1100 hours EDT
7. Tear down time?
*** Sunday, 1400 hours EDT
8. Restricted hours, if any, for visitors? (Some sites are not accessible
after dark)
*** No restrictions.
9. Bands and modes you plan to operate?
*** VHF/UHF& all HF Field Day bands. Modes: SSB, CW, PSK31, and FM, for
talk in.
10. Bonus Points Educational Project?
*** An educational project is still being discussed, so it is a definite
maybe!
11. Any special activities or information that visitors should be aware
of, or that you want to publicize (meals, picnic, etc.). Is sign up, RSVP
or fee required for meals?
*** A pot-luck supper is planned for 1800 hours EDT. Visitors need not
bring food, but can if they so desire. Visitors should bring their own
beverages, although a limited supply will be available (No alcoholic drinks
are allowed on the grounds of the WSU campus).
12. Any other comments relating to your group's Field Day 2011 activities?
*** The WCOARA plans to operate as Entry Class 3A. All tranceivers will
be operated on battery power, although limited operation on solar cells is
likely. A backup generator will be available, if needed. Water, commercial
power and public restrooms are available on the site.
