Generally everything works with the NI ones - some of the other cards
(well the older ones I know of) can be more difficult.

Of course, that means the NI ones fetch more $$'s.

I would have thought Linux drivers exist. I know they do for Solaris,
although I am not sure if they come with a new card or not.

Someone has offered to loan me a manual on the B version. I will at
least photocopy that, and possibly scan it, depending on size and my
patience. My aim would be to turn it into a pdf, although I know (for me
at least) this is a pretty slow process for even a 10 page data sheet.

From a thread I started a week or so ago about the differences between
the A and B, there does not seem to be a huge difference, so the manual
might be helpful for normal use, although not for servicing of course.

Anyway, I might be in a position to distribute a pdf of the B on a
CD-ROM in the near future, since it would appear Agilent will not let me
put a manual on a web site, but I can send it to you via a CD-ROM.
