[time-nuts] Help with PTS 3200

I just got a PTS3200, and I am testing a microprocessor-based
controller, multiplexing the frequency control digits.

If a send the least significant frequencies first, everything works as
expected.

If I change the order, sending first the byte corresponding to the
highest frequency, I get a strange behavior. It works ok for most
frequencies, but for same values the frequency is incorrect. The
behavior is constant.

Is this normal, or do I have a bug in my controller?
