[time-nuts] Frequency Electronics FE-5440A

I have recently purchased a Frequency Electronics FE-5440A and am about to
dig in to try an figure this thing out, winter project.  In the process of
searching for any information I discovered this list.  I contacted the
company that manufactured this unit and they were no help, I didn't expect
them to anyway.  

Does anyone know anything about this unit and can you suggest any steps to
follow?
