I only got my HP-5370B today, but after you said, I agree the heatsinks 
do run warm.

My HP-5370B has no rubber feet or similar underneath. They seem to have 
been removed I suspect, as there is there are what appears to be places 
where they mount.

I suspect that lifting the unit 10mm or so off the bench, with feet (if 
you don't have them) would help, as convection cooling would work 
better, whereas it will not work too well if there is no place for the 
air to enter under the heatsink.

I'm only guessing at this. I've never done a full thermal analysis of 
convection currents around a heatsink. But I suspect my situation is not 
ideal.
