Thanks Brooke,
Seems like something way over my head for what I could build successfully. 
I would need very definite construction plans and don't have access to past 
QST articles. Don't have much practical experience - especially with RF 
circuits.
If I had a choice, I really would like something more compact than a loop 
antenna anyway. I'm toying with the idea of building a ferrite loop, but 
need to a lot of experimenting to find the correct number of turns to make 
it work at 60 kHz.
