GMT is the old British name based on the RGO=Royal Greenwich
Observatory ([9]http://www.rog.nmm.ac.uk/), whereas UTC is the modern,
preferred international name. The RGO no longer exists as an
observatory, and it is now a part of the ROG (Royal Observatory
Greenwich) Museum.
