Yes, I guess the sheddites obtained the notions from before the start of 
uk.rec.sheds.

The (sic) part was meant to indicate that the Shed would probably not 
consider themselves as 'hip and happening' anyway.

It's a sheddy thing.

I guess we should really get back to the normal programes now.
