Why do all that when the entire instrument is all ready available for cheap ?

Any Rubidium frequency oscillator from Efratrom, Frequency electronics,
Symmetricom, or the old Datum units, etc., off ebay for $200 or less is essentially
the same thing as this highly over priced school lab device.

If you carefully disassemble RB frequency device you will have all the same
components, albeit on a smaller scale.  Just add a magnifying glass and you got it
! ! !
