I hope there are no top posting rules on the forum.

Here is the manual.

I will pull the cover and look for markings on the gps later.

Sorry to bug the list, but I don't see a way to search the archives.

I have a Datum Starloc II. It seems to run under the Thunderbolt Monitor
and Lady Heather, but the oven temperature isn't sensed correctly. I can
tell the oven is working since it is warm. However, the temperature
never varies from 30 deg C. Lady Heather has better resolution than
Thunberbolt Monitor, and I can't believe the temperature isn't changing
one millidegree C.

---------------
Have you checked to see what GPS module it's using?

The Starlite stand alone PCB was supplied with both Motorola and Furuno
modules, possibly others too, and any Starloc II data I've seen, admittedly
only from Symmetricom, refers to that using the Motorola M12, so it's
interesting to hear this is responding as though a Trimble module.

Although the serial communication is via the main PCB both the Starloc and
Starlite use plug on GPS modules, at least on those I'm aware of, and it's
possible that the communication just doesn't include main board and/or oven
 temperature data.

Have you found a manual for this?, I've had some Starlite modules for a
while now but only found very basic data sheets and no manuals.

regards
