[time-nuts] X72 Rb units, any experience ?

Hi

I realize this is sort of "non-information"...

Depending on which auctions you look at the X72 is up around $300 and the
LPRO is below $100. The last batch of LPRO's I bought came in below $50.

The X72 has some very neat bells and whistles. I certainly would not refuse
one as a gift. Figuring out weather the X72 you are looking at does or does
not have the optional 1 pps sync input would be a good idea.

The short term stability of the X72 is not rated to be quite as good as the
LPRO. Rumor has it that their actual performance in that regard is not quite
as good as the LPRO. Once I saw that, justifying the 3 to 6X price
difference was pretty tough. With the price of Temex LPFRS's coming down to
the $100 vicinity, it's even harder to justify.

Bob

I'm in the market for a new Rb for general use, and noticed that we have
heard surprising little about the X72 on the list ?

Anybody got any experience to share ?
