It's a combination of a short pulse laser and an interlocked streak tube 
and lot's pf sweeps.

Not particular advanced, but quite cool. Naturally I want one too.

Just the fact that it helps illustrating how light actually bounces 
around is marvellous. The "afterglow" of the tomato is one such effect, 
as it keep bouncing around inside.
