Hello everybody,
I've some questions for who has the solartron 7061 and/or can help:
1- behaviour: is it normal to have measurement "noise" on last digit?
measuring a lithium battery and a geller labs voltage source i get
the reading jumping usually +-3 +-4 counts on last digit, less frequently
6-7 digits or 1-2 digits. Range 10V, 7 digits, filter on.
2- ROM: I tried download ROMs content. I don't trust the (willem) programmer
I used, since it's from a friend of mine and I don't have experience with it.
I'd like to verify the ROMs content I download if are correct.
Now on the labels there is the model number and a 4 alphanumeric code, is this
checksum? What kind of algorithm should it be?
3- Jumper config: I noted a strange thing, that maybe is non significant,
on the side of IC804 rom on analogue board there are soler-jumpers SP1
and SP2 marked
SP1:2716 SP2:2732/64, the instrument mounts 2764 roms and the corresponding
jumper SP2 is full of solder, but not jumped correctly, SP1 is not soldered.
Should this jumper be solder-closed?

Thanks,
Fabio.
