[time-nuts] manual request: Austron 2201A

Hi Brooke,

Good to hear from you.

The Austron 2029A used 10 MHz LO and a 75.42MHz IF. Power was 15VDC at
175mA.

The manual I have is pretty thin - no schematics just a spec block diagram
and an installation guide. Will email you block diagram directly.

Rob

Hi Rob:

I have an Quantic Q5200 GPS receiver that needs a special down converting
antenna and have never seen one. I've thought of making one, but don't have
enough information for the design. Does the 2029A manual have a block
diagram or other design information?

The Q5200 sends both +15 Vdc power and a 11.114 MHz reference frequency up
the cable to the Antenna Module. The Antenna Module receives the satellite
L1 frequency and down converts the signal to an IF of 153.028 MHz which is
sent down the cable to the receiver. http://www.prc68.com/I/Q5200.shtml
But how is a mystery.

Have Fun,

Brooke Clarke
