[time-nuts] Scanning darkly

Hi Bill,

Silly question !  Are you using color mode to scan or the grey scale
mode (if there is one) ?

I use an inexpensive Canon scanner in the color mode and get reasonable
grey scale with the default settings, whatever they are.
