I hadn't realised previously but now find I aready had that  information 
buried in the depths of my Datum/Symmetricon BC637PCI  manual.
 
It's interesting that the BC637VME document refers to the optional GPS  
module as being an Acutime unit, all of which are external if I remember  
rightly, whereas the BC637PCI manual shows the GPS  option there as a plug on Ace 
2, which is what I have fitted, and  that's also what's pictured on the 
BC637PCI_U datasheet.
 
Thanks too for the link to version 4 of the Thunderbolt manual, it's the  
first time I've seen that one.
