There's a brief passing reference to TBolt Monitor in both versions 3 and 5 
 of the Thunderbolt manual but I suspect that might be it, although very  
happy to be corrected.
 
I do keep thinking I've seen something more detailed but  certainly can't 
find it now so am wondering if I was getting confused with the  documentation 
for Trimble's GPS Monitor program.
 
GPSMon is supposedly a later replacement for many of the earlier  monitor 
and Trimble "chat" programs but I do find it has some quirks, not  displaying 
Tbolt position information consistently without needing to  regularly reset 
the displayed format being just one example.
However, it generally does work quite well.

The zip file for GPS Monitor V1-05 also included a 20 page pdf of  version 
1.2 of the GPSMon manual.
I can't find that zip file on the ftp site right now but can supply a  copy 
if it isn't still there.
 
Another option is to use TR_Mon which is indicated as being for the Acutime 
 products but will work with the Tbolt, and that program does include a  
working help section. That help section can also be downloaded separately.
