If yours is the same version as mine, it has an Astec Switching Power supply. IIRC, it ends in "42". I would be more specific, but I am not where it is. ;-).
I was surprised to learn that this supply is still in production by more than one vendor and is much less than $100. Swapping it out is very easy; two connectors and four screws. The supply was dead when I got mine and I have temporarily subbed an old PS from a Cisco switch, but I will either fix the old one or buy new. I then replaced one of the keypad switches, added a Novatel antenna and Voila!, good as new.
For both cost and reliability, I think this would be your best option.
Regarding the TS-2100, the only manual I can find does not list all the connectors that exist on the back, nothing regarding pin-outs or their function. For example, there is a DB-15 to the right of the RJ45 'net connection, but there are others.
I just got this unit, so if anyone has different manual versions available, a link would be very much appreciated. If anyone has a service manual with schematics, I would exalt them forever.
Cheers,
