[time-nuts] Any experienced HP 2804A thermometer users out there?

Hi John,
Never used the 2804A, but agree with the other comments. Weller came up with an interesting probe to check soldering iron tips withot thermal loading. It is basically an iron with two sensors, one near the heater and one near the tip. These form a bridge which is balanced when there is no thermal "flow" into or out of the load. It might be possible to do something similar with the 2804A.
